About ABC Testimony

The story behind the practice

What ABC Testimony Is

ABC Testimony is a simple, weekly practice that helps people see what God is doing in their lives, name it specifically, and share it with others. Five minutes at the opening of any small group. A one-page template. A two-session training. The practice runs itself after that.

The name describes the shape: All About Jesus, Brief, Current. The story exists to prove who God is. The version you tell takes about a minute. It's about right now, not three years ago.

Where It Came From

ABC was the simple framework that guided people in sharing testimonies of how God was revealing Himself during the Asbury Outpouring of 2023. ABC Testimony builds off that guidance to provide a framework to model ABC in our everyday life — out of the premise that God is moving all around us if we look for Him. He is always moving first.

ABC trains the user to look for God in their lives and learn the character and nature of His self-giving love. ABC is the spark of knowing God — and the hope that when people encounter God in their lives, their hunger grows into full pursuit.

How Churches Can Use It

ABC Testimony is designed to be picked up by any church or small group. The materials are licensed for free use within your own congregation, group, or ministry. You can download them, print them, lead training sessions with them, and reference them in your teaching — no permission required, no cost.

What you cannot do is resell them, modify them and call them your own, host them on your own website, or republish them publicly without permission. The full terms are on the Terms of Use page.

If you have questions, want to use the materials in a way the standard license doesn't cover (for example, including them in a larger curriculum, distributing them across a denominational network, or adapting them for a substantially different setting), or just want to tell us how it's going in your church — we'd love to hear from you.

A Room Full of Witnesses

The goal is not the framework. The framework is a scaffold. The goal is a room full of witnesses — week after week, testimony after testimony, until your group has accumulated specific, personal, shared knowledge of who God is and what He does. That library is what carries one another through valleys, and what speaks to anyone outside of the room.

God is.·God did.·He will.
